Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Finalizes 2019 Schedule

Friday, January 18, 2019

Corona, CA (January 18, 2019) – As racers anxiously prepare to hit the dirt at the Southern California season opener in Victorville next month, the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series announced the complete 2019 schedule today.

"We are introducing a bit of a different format for both the Southern California and Arizona series this year. Not only will we do our typical stand-alone events, but we will now be joining forces with the national series (LOORRS) on a couple of weekends as well. The intent is to provide both racers and spectators with a national and a regional show all at the same facility on the same weekends," explained Regional Series Director Lee Perfect. "You can come and watch the Pro 4s on Saturday night at the national event and race your Mini Stock around the same track the next day at the regional event. With myself and our strong regional team managing operations of both regions and the addition of the joint events, it's definitely going to be another exciting season for grassroots racing."

The Lucas Oil Regional Series were formed in 2010 in an effort to give racers a safe, affordable, family centered place to have fun and get started in short course racing at the same local tracks used by the pros. In addition to acting as feeder series for the popular Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, the series has developed its own following, growing almost 500% since its inception. Racers ranging in age from 6 to 75 come out to battle in 18 different classes ranging from karts and UTVs to desert cars to full sized pro trucks.
