You are the J1 Kart Champion; tell us the road you took this past season that you made you the champ? The road I took was one of staying confident in myself. It helped that I would qualify good and then during the race, I worked hard to get in front of the field.

What are your plans for the 2016 season? Will you continue to race in the J1 Kart? I will be staying in J1 this year but will also do some races in a RZR 170 with Jimmy from XMF. I just had a blast placing 2nd in the Production 170 UTV World Championship. We are also building a Modified Kart this season and hope to compete in the LOORRS Challenge Cup at the end of the season.

Being the champion and having so much race experience at such a young age, can you give new drivers some key advice? The new drivers need to stay fit and find the right lines. They also need to learn when they can be aggressive and when they shouldn't be.

What is your overall short course racing goal? Where do you see yourself 5 years from you now? Overall, this year I would like to become a three-time J1 champion. In five years I hope to be racing an Active Screen Printing GRC lite and possibly a Pro Lite.

Would you like to give your sponsors a shout out and thank the people that help you make it to the track? I would like to thank my sponsors who help me make this happen: Active Screen Printing, Axial Racing, KC HiLiTES, HJC Helmets, K1 Race Gear, Walker Evans Racing, R2C Air Filters, PCI Race Radios, Hole Shot, Lucas Oil Products, Ultra Wheel Company, Axis Rod Ends, Action Sports Canopies, Fiberwerx, Xtreme Machine & Fabrication, Paint by Jeff, Paint by CR Designs, HPS Plumbing, DLM Excavation, CPR Plus, Pens by Michael and Sierra Drywall
Thank you!
